Methods Of Unclogging Toilet Without Plunger

Having a clogged toilet is the worst thing in your home. It won’t make you comfortable due to a bad odor it emits in the entire house. However, mostly, the toilets tend to clog when the plunger is nowhere close.

The only thing you should have done by that time is having the toilet unclogged. When at home alone and this issue happen, the thing you have to do is know the possible ways you can unclog the toilet. Never always depend on the plungers to do everything for you since, at times, you will lose it.

There are several ways you can opt to unclog your toilet. It all depends on which is most available and suitable for your toilet. These ways are explained in the chapter.

Using Liquid Cleaner

The clog can be removed with liquid cleaner by using the surfactant so it can reduce water’s surface tension. You can use whatever cleaning product which is able to get sudsy properly. The procedure also requires that you have hot water but don’t have it boiling.

The hotter water might cause cracks at the toilet bowl. You should also remember that the procedure is important in the non-overflowing toilet since they must have space to store extra water. Have some cleaning solution squirted in the bowl, and then add hot water.

Make the toilet get full but let it not overflow and spare it for some minutes. When the water doesn’t lower after some minutes, you will need to use another method. You might also opt to have the procedure repeated till you see the toilet okay.

Try Using Epsom salt

You can always opt to use this method when you happen to clog the friend’s toilet. This is a simple way since it can help you not to expose this embarrassing situation. At the toilet, you need to confirm if it contains Epsom salt.

You should use the Epsom salt to eradicate your problems once and for all. You need to poor this salt into the toilet bowl. The reactive Epsom salt will then start causing Fizzy chemical reaction, which will help to break down everything and the drain will immediately be cleared.

You can wait for a maximum of twenty minutes before having the toilet flushed.

Use Dish Soap For Toilet Bomb

The toilet bomb might be the best way for unclogging the toilet whenever there is an emergency in the toilet. The toilet bomb can happen well when you use the kitchen’s dish soap. It is what will help to break the particles and make the unclogging go away.

You need to pour some dish soap detergents into the bowl. The breaking particles will then flow and you will need to flush the toilet then you will be done.

If dish soap doesn’t work, take time to create ‘bomb’ which requires that it dries for some hours. The ingredients for making the ‘bomb’ can be prepared as you try the other methods first to see if they will work.

Use A Wire Hanger

The wire hanger which you mostly use in your closet for hanging the clothes can be helpful. You can pick a wire hanger from the closet. Prefer the one which has a plastic coating to avoid scratching the bowl during unclogging.

Straighten the hanger and insert into the bowl. You can frequently twist the wire as you break any available solid the way you can. Ensure the particles are clearly broken as if you are using the snake toilet. After the particles are broken, flush the toilet to confirm if the clogging is gone.

If you find the toilet still doesn’t flush properly, repeat the process.

Use Pray And Toilet Brush

You can grab the toilet brush then push it into the draining hole slowly but efficiently. You will repeat a vigorous process thoroughly. You might opt to cover the brush using the trash bag so the toilet brush can be maintained clean.

Ensure you also have gloves and be dressed as expected to avoid getting dirty. When you think the process is repeated much enough, flush the toilet. Repeat the same process severally to ensure the toilet is back to normal.

The above processes are effective and will help you get a clean toilet once again. Avoid staying with a clogged toilet since it can even lead to health problems. The clogging is the condition no one will want their toilet to be in.

Always ensure you are prepared in advance without waiting for the plunger who can take longer to get to you. The above methods will make you understand how to get toilet unclogged without a plunger.
