People who are used to cleaning and washing with water after using a toilet might not get the concept of tissue papers. It might be news to them that people in the western world do not clean themselves with water.

Instead, they opt for the tissue paper. Wipe and flush that is the use of tissue paper right there. There is a reason there used to be nothing like a water tap or a nozzle around English toilets. The tissue paper is what they use.

Importance Of Cleaning Oneself

Cleaning yourself, with water, is an age-old habit. But for some reason, that habit has lost its gravity among some portion of people in the world. To ensure maximum hygiene, people need to understand that they must use water to clean and, if possible, soap too. Only using tissue paper is not enough. You can use it after cleaning yourself. But not before, as that doesn’t make much sense.

The Change

However, things are changing. And more and more people there are inclined towards a thorough wash after using a toilet. So, the type of toilet has changed as well. If replacing the toilet system is not possible, then you have the bidet right somewhere close to the toilet.

Some have placed toilets and bidets side by side intentionally for a thorough cleaning. Perhaps the idea was to use the same toilet, but after that, using the bidet right beside to have a thorough cleaning of oneself.

Bidet

Bidet is a bowl with a water faucet on it. It is almost a sink, but you have to sit on it to clean yourself, so the shape is similar to an English toilet. What you do is after you are done using the toilet, you sit right on the bidet and clean yourself. After cleaning yourself with water, then you either use a towel or tissue paper to dry yourself.

Now, this might not seem 100% hygienic and comfy to most of you. Because frankly, it is not. It might be better than only using toilet tissues but not comfy enough like it should be. So, to take the percentage of comfort and hygiene to 100%, we have the bidet toilet seats.

Bidet Toilets

Now some toilets come with bidet toilet seats installed on it. So, you do not have to do any extra work. It’s a complete package where you get a toilet with bidet seats on it and remote control and beyond.

It has a pencil-like wand placed in it in the rear side of the toilet. You have to sit on it like you usually do but will not have to get up like you need to do while using a bidet. The water system is right there, housed in the toilet through a nozzle.

So, after you are done, you just need to press a button to spray water and dry yourself with tissue paper. There is no extra work. Neither does it demand extra space to set up two items in a bathroom. Most importantly, it is all the more hygienic too.

The pencil-like wand sprays water after you are done emptying your bowel. The spray wand might be a bit thicker than a pencil and not necessarily placed only at the rear side.

Bidet Toilet Seats

A bidet toilet seat is precisely an attachment. It is a really high-end and luxurious toilet seat that ensures its user the maximum comfort.

You get the bidet toilet seats and place them over your regular toilets. You will have to do a bit of installation, but then it might be easier than replacing the whole toilet. But how do bidet toilet seats work? Let’s ponder upon that.

How It Works

Bidet toilet seats are like a lid to the toilet bowl. Instead of paying loads in buying a bidet toilet and struggling with all the troubles of replacing it with your old toilet, you can buy a bidet toilet seat and turn your old toilet to something more tech-oriented.

For that, you will have to install it over your toilet. Underneath the lid, you have a mold similar to the shape of a round toilet top. That is going to be set right over the actual toilet seat. Once it’s set, you can sit on it and close the slow closing lid after you are done emptying your bowel.

Do not think these are mere covers to put on your toilet. Legit technology is going on in it. If you are interested in spending a bit more than normal, you can get the best of all the toilets pre-installed with bidets.

Benefits

These bidet seats are smart devices with remote control. You can have different options, and with smart touch control, one can control the experience of using this extraordinary invention. You can control the water temperature as well as the water pressure.

You can change the nozzle position as well. The spray nozzle will spray water from different positions from rear to front, and ensure a thorough cleaning and optimum hygiene.

To answer the common question of the source of the water that comes out of the nozzle is simple. The water source is the same as your shower or sink.

In some cases, you get the benefit of a heated toilet. A heated toilet is known for providing maximum warmth to the user and has other health benefits too. If you are fighting with arthritis or other similar issues, you need this option direly. It will soothe your pain to a large extent and even work like therapy too.

Last but not least, with such seats, you get the warm air dryer. So, naturally, you do not need to use toilet paper. Time and again, using too much toilet tissue has created clogging issues in the toilet. So, a warm air dryer is a better option to keep your toilet unclogged as long as possible.

All the above options you can set up prior, through adjustment. And your toilet seat is going to work the same way every time you use it due to the pre-settings.

So, here is our final verdict; bidet toilet seat works, and it works fine. It is easy, hygienic, and comfy.
